Here's a holiday dip that will enhance the taste of cut up vegetables and crudites:

Take 1/2 cup of fat free sour cream
1/2 cup fat free mayo
1/2 cup of well chopped roasted red peppers
2 tsp of chopped fresh basil leaves
1 small clove of garlic minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Mix and chill in frig for one hour

Nuts contain a variety of health-provoking compounds.  Depending on the nut you get fiber, calcium, healthy fats, thiamine, lutein, selenium, manganese, Folate, vitamin K, even iron.

Quercetin is both an anti-oxidant and an anti-inflammatory agent.  In berries, grapes, onions, red apple skins, it also is known to boost energy and performance.  I'd prefer you get it right from food, but supplements are also available.
